Okanagan Fall Wine Festival Culinary Tour
Description
Naramata Bench Region, Penticton
Excitement is high in the Okanagan when the leaves start to fall, the grapes are harvested and the yearly wine festival begins with a flourish. Join us for our annual tasting event that lets you sample the best from BC wineries in all different styles: from crisp, flinty, dry rieslings to distinguished, bold Bordeaux blends (discretely referred to as ‘Meritage’ outside of France). Your personal chef and wine expert can guide you through the forest of wineries to find hidden gems within the BC wine world.
Itinerary
Day 1
Meet in Penticton at our luxury accommodation. You are greeted with a four course meal and your first sampling of paired BC wines to savour, all prepared by your personal chef and wine expert.
Day 2
Sip your way through the wineries along BC’s famous Naramata Bench. Let us whisk you along Lake Okanagan through the bounty of orchards and vineyards that set the tone for this trip. We can fill you in on the history and wine profiles of all the hot spots and help you find wines that suit even the most discerning palette. Dinner will be served by your own personal chef and will highlight foods from the local fall harvest (Sample Menu link). In the evening, dress up and head out to the Okanagan wine tasting event and meet some of our best vintners.
Day 3
After a lavish breakfast and a good cup of coffee or tea, say goodbye to Lake Okanagan and enjoy the return journey home.
